Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 June 2026 · Last updated: 1 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ONLYauth, an authentication service operated by the ONLYauth project ("we", "us", "our"). By using ONLYauth, you agree to these Terms.

1. What ONLYauth is

ONLYauth is a privacy-first authentication service. It allows you to sign in to participating applications using a one-time code sent to your email address. ONLYauth does not store your email address in readable form. It does not sell your data. It does not track you across services.

2. Eligibility and access

ONLYauth is currently in invite-only early access. You must receive a valid invitation to create an account. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time if these Terms are violated.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use ONLYauth to impersonate another person or entity
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, attack, or circumvent the authentication system
  • Use automated tools to abuse the one-time code or invite systems
  • Use ONLYauth for any unlawful purpose

4. Availability

ONLYauth is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ONLYauth. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed €100.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of ONLYauth after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
